Verkocht door: Rob de Boer. Omschrijving: Fantastic piece of space-age design by Spanish company Fase from Madrid. Fase Madrid made some of the most fantastic designs during its 40 somewhat years of existence. One of them is this Tharsis desk lamp. Fully chrome and in good condition. The chrome on the base has weathered a bit, but there is no rust or other damage to be seen. It is complete and in full working order, wiring checked, unlike some of the other examples that can be found online.
The lamp consist of 2 parts, the upper part being able to move independently on a smart swivel arm. Fase lamps are becoming increasingly sought after. You can see them in many Hollywood films and TV-productions. The Tharsis lamp is just as futuristic as many of the other Fase lamps you can find in my shop. I like to think that this lamp will still look modern 100 years from now. That is called timeless quality, a great item for generations to enjoy.
